Our Staff
The Nursery is staffed by a lovely balance of long serving, well qualified and multi-talented mature and young staff who bring a blend of life experience, wisdom and fresh talents to our nursery.
Our personal ‘Key Person’ system ensures that each child is assigned to a carer who is responsible for:
- Welcoming the child and parent into nursery upon arrival for each session
- Looking after that child’s every need whilst in our care
- Making written progress reports as well as giving verbal and written feedback to parents for the children in their care
- Supervising the table at meal times and encouraging good table manners
- Performing a variation of activities and experiences to encourage the child’s development
- Undertaking written observations and development profiles as well as creating a scrapbook of artwork created by your child which is given to you when your child leaves The Barn Nursery as a memento of their time here
At the end of the nursery day, a member of our team will report to you on the activities and adventures your child has enjoyed that day.
